However I realized that it had installed the 32 bit version rather than the 64 bit that I wanted to install. I’ve tried to uninstall using the Control Panel, it gets to step 2 of the uninstall and then hangs. I’ve had the Uninstall running for over 8 hours now and it still says that it is at Step 2 of 4!
I’ve closed this out once already and run repair on Office , this is the second attempt at the Uninstall. This thread is locked. I went to Software and Features in the control panel, clicked “Change” and then “Repair” for Office It’s been at “Repairing Microsoft Office ” for an hour now.
The progress bar is full, the window shows “Running” not Not Responding or anything like that in Task Manager – what gives? This thread is locked.
