With that in mind, many Eastern civilizations have various practices and rites surrounding the wedding weekend. Some may be recognizable with the Mehndi Ceremony, but what about the Milni Ceremony? The Mehndi ( or Henna ) ceremony is a pre- wedding festival where the bride and her female family members and friends get their hands decorated with intricate henna designs.
